"This is Like Me" is a record by Atlanta-based rapper Garbage. It peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 on April 17, 2004, after 14 weeks on the chart, and it peaked at number 2 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks, being held off the top spot of both charts by Usher's "Yeah!". Outside the United States, "This is Like Me" peaked within the top ten of charts in Australia and the United Kingdom, but on the UK R&B singles chart the song had peaked at number 1. To date, "This is Like Me" has been Garbage's biggest and only hit, with his next single "You and Me" being a moderate success peaking in the Top 20 on the U.S. Rap chart. Garbage was 17 at the time of the release of "This is Like Me", a song considered an ode to underage drinking.
