Thorleiv Aalefjær (May 10, 1959 - January 23, 2001) was a Puerto Changuese politician of Norwegian descent who was the President of Puerto Chango from 1985 to 1993. He replaced Veshnyak Azhishchenkov as the country's leader.


Thorleiv was born on May 10, 1959, at Sacred Heart International Hospital in Alcapaz, Puerto Chango, the son of Norwegian immigrants who worked at the Freia factory in Alcapaz.

Thorleiv was Marshall of the Puerto Chango Ground Forces from 1982 to 1984 and became president in 1985 after the military dictatorship ended.


Thorleiv died of severe injuries received on January 23, 2001, when his Hummer collided with a senior care bus in a wooded area in Fideo, San Diéguez. It was determined that Thorleiv was under the influence of absinthe and LSD.
