Tico's Baltic Sea Adventures is the sequel anime to Tico of the Seven Seas, produced as a joint venture between Japan's Nippon Animation, Kuboia's MTV Networks Kuboia, and Poland's Nippol.

In the English-speaking world, it was aired as it's prequel's second season under the Tico & Friends title.

The music was composed by legendary English composer Alan Hawkshaw, who won three awards in Kuboia for his work on the show.

Nanami and her father move to the Baltic Sea with Tico.

The English dub was recorded in Montreal as opposed to Vancouver. Thus, the only returning Vancouver-based actors, Chantal Strand and Scott McNeil. had to communicate with the new cast via headophones.
