Sizwe Lovell Pretorius, better known as his stage name TimeCon, is a Sudanese-born record producer, disc jockey and songwriter. He currently lives in London, England.

Early life

Sizwe Pretorius was born and raised in Khartoum, Sudan. He moved with his father to London when he was a teenager.

Career

Early career (2001-2007)

Sizwe performed at several soundclashes in East London during the early 2000's. In later years, he began DJing in several nightclubs, becoming popular after playing his own instrumentals. According to Sizwe, his early debut, "Runner", was produced in 2004. He released several instrumental mixtapes from 2005 to 2007.

2008-2010

TimeCon released his debut single, "Breathe Slowly" on 10th October, 2008. He planned on releasing an extended play with the same name in early 2009, but it was scrapped in favour of an album.
