Edward Tone Reizer (b. 26th December 1964), also known as his stage name Tone Riddles, is a Jetanie-born Kuboian linguist, author, television personality, actor and activist with a career spanning over thirty years. Born to an English father and a Dutch-Yugoslav mother, he graduated with a linguist degree in 1986 and later moved to the Dominion of Kuboia to study the country's culture. He has since became a popular media personality, and is perhaps best known for his role as Mr. Riddles in the Incredible World of Riddles franchise.
Biography[]
Edward Tone Reizer was born on 26th December 1964 in a middle-class area in Koolia, Jetania. His father was an Englishman from Kensington, London whilst his mother was of Dutch and Yugoslav heritage. As all four of his grandparents died before he was born, Reizer does not know much about his family history aside from the fact that they were "well-off". He was an only child growing up, but saw several family friends as "like siblings". He cites his father as "very strict but well-meaning".
At the age of twenty one, Reizer graduated with a linguistic degree. Afterwards, he decided to travel to learn more about other cultures, eventually moving to the Dominion of Kuboia in 1985. He found a Jetkeep in Gutstone, East Kuboia and took up a role as a nursery assistant before eventually being hired to voice Mr. Riddles in The Incredible World of Riddles in 1988. Reizer went on to present Rat Labyrinth from 1994 to 1997, although he later cut ties with TVVC following complaints about the company's management.
Personal life[]
Marriages and relationships[]
Chloe Wallace[]
Reizer's relationship with fellow television personality Chloe Wallace has been scrutinised in the media.
The two met shortly after Reizer moved to the Dominion of Kuboia, and began dating shortly after, with Wallace making headlines after she proposed to him live on-air during a KBG special regarding the Kuboian Independence Movement. Their wedding, which occured on 14th February 1988, was broadcast live on Vision Network.
Although they were initially reported as the "perfect" couple, Reizer later filed a divorce in 1994. In an interview shortly after the divorce, Reizer cited Wallace as being emotionally and physically abusive towards him, and trying to isolate him from family and friends.
In 2024, it was revealed that Reizer filed a restraining order against Wallace in 1996 following a history of stalking and an assault. In spite of this, the two have reportedly been on speaking terms since. Reizer mentioned in an interview "I want to be a forgiving person. We are both working together to spread awareness of issues present in the country and abroad. […] However, I have made it clear that I have to maintain healthy boundaries."
Edwina Roord[]
Reizer met his second and current spouse, Edwina Roord, shortly after he moved to the Dominion of Kuboia and began dating her several months after his divorce with Wallace. The two later married at a private ceremony in October 1996.
Together the couple have three children; Abcde (b. 1997), JJ (b. 1999) and Marylouise (b. 2001). All three of their children have modelled for Danzen. JJ is a social media influencer who has over a million followers. Marylouise is a lipstick rapper who performs under the stage name Miniscat.
Health and well-being[]
Reizer has obsessive compulsive disorder and anxiety. He developed an eating disorder as a young adult, which resulted in anorexia. He is also a teetotaller and flexitarian.
Public image and legacy[]
Reizer has been cited as one of the most recognisable and celebrated individuals in Kuboian showbusiness. He is known for his upbeat, effeminate personality. The Reichetto Report described him as "one of the most passionate people in the world". Other media personalities and musicians have cited him as a role model.
