Tooncast is a free-to-air television channel in Kuboia owned by Turner Broadcasting Networks Kuboia. The channel originally launched on 15th April, 2013, replacing Boomerang. Alongside the main Tooncast channel, a one-hour timeshift service called Tooncast +1 is also available on some services.

Like its Latin American counterpart, the channel does not air any advertisements. However, it does show promos for itself and other Turner channels between shows. Also, the channel uses different idents to that of the Latin American channel.

In 2018, Tooncast was referred to as one of the three "new era" Turner children's channels in Kuboia, alongside Boing and Player.

History

Tooncast was launched on 15th April, 2013 at 12:01a.m. The channel replaced Boomerang as the channel for classic cartoons and children's programming.

On 28th February, 2018, Tooncast introduced a programming block titled Kiddioka, which aired everyday from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. This continued until 18th June, 2018, when Kiddioka was launched as a channel.

Since its launch, Tooncast has broadcast for 24 hours a day.

The channel broadcasts a variety of older children's programmes, mostly animation from Hanna-Barbera and Warner Bros.
