The Triple Crown is an accomplishment in professional wrestling. It is a distinction made to a professional wrestler who has won three of the single promotion's championships; specifically, a world championship, secondary singles championship and tag team championship

National promotions that officially recognize Triple Crown winners include WCW, WNA, both ECWs, HCW and GFW as well as the defunct Vanguard Class Wrestling (VCW), Notable independent promotions such as Super Hardcore Wrestling (SHW), Xtreme Class Wrestling (XCW), InterContinental Championship Wrestling (ICCW), Riot Federation Wrestling (RFW), and Ultimate Zone Wrestling (UZW)

WCW

In WCW, the term Triple Crown Champion traditionally been used to describe a wrestler who has won the WCW Championship, the WCW Intercontinental Championship and the WCW Tag Team Championship, This was first used back in 1981 when Keno Patero won the WCW Tag Team Titles with Harley Cinco and describing himself the Inaugural Triple Crown Champion.

In Extreme Championship Wrestling, however, the term Triple Crown Champion in the promotion traditionally been used to describe a wrestler who has won the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, ECW World Television Championship and the ECW World Tag Team Championship.
