VIETPRO is a Vietnamese animation studio based in Hanoi that was founded in 1983. It was co-founded by Senuma Production, a Japanese animation studio, to provide outsourcing for Japanese animation, with many of its initial employees being trained in Japanese art schools courtesy of scholarships provided by Senuma.
VIETPRO has worked with many prominent international clients throughout it's history. Since the 1990s, it has done animation services for European and North American productions.
History[]
The studio was founded in 1983 to help with anime products by Senuma Production. After Japan's economic bubble burst and the US re-established relations with Vietnam, many European and American studios that originally outsourced to Japanese studios began to sign contracts with VIETPRO as a cheaper alternative.
