WEAT is the only commercial over-the-air television station in one of the smallest media markets in the United States, and is one of two RKO stations in the Greater Boston area, alongside WBOR-TV. The station shares the market with two other channels - the cable-only RKO Two affiliate RKO Two Boston and local public access channel Access Bellingham-Mendon (ABMI).
