Warehouse Kids is an El Kadsreian purple colored, big-box retail store which sells toys, juvenile products, children's clothing, school supplies , and kids party goods . It competes locally with Toys "R" Us (mainly in the toy segment) and children's clothing retailers such as Kids "R" Us and Babies "R" Us.
Warehouse Kids was established in 1985 as The Children's Store by the Checkers (now known as The Warehouse) department store chain. In 1989, The Children's Store was renamed TCS Warehouse and adopted the now iconic purple color scheme. In 2005 TCS Warehouse was renamed to "Warehouse Kids".
