Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Roald Dahl's 1964 novel of the same name was planned to be produced as an animated feature film by Sparkle in 1965, until it got scrapped after Sparkle realizing film director Mel Stuart had adquired the film rights to the book and adapted it into a live-action musical feature film produced by Paramount Pictures under the title Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
In the late 1950s and early 1960s, Allspark planned to make a version of A. A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh storybooks as a feature film. The film was supposed to be an anthology of segments based on stories from Milne's books. It got scrapped after Walt Disney acquired the rights to the Pooh books and characters in 1961 and adapted into a series of featurettes that ran between 1966 and 1983.
