What if Hanna-Barbera was a film company?

Everybody may know that Hanna-Barbera was known as one of the kings of cartoons aimed to television, along with occasional theatrical content.

So here’s an alternate universe question: what would’ve be like if the studio was focusing on both television and theatrical animations?

Shall we think and find out for ourselves?

Changes

• Huckleberry Hound, Pixie and Dixie, Yogi Bear, Hokey Wolf, Quick Draw McGraw, Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy, Snooper and Blabber, Snagglepuss, and Yakky Doodle would been released as theatrical short series just like Loopy De Loop.
• All Tom and Jerry cartoons would've still produced by Hanna-Barbera rather than Rembrandt Films and Chuck Jones.
• Despite the studio being bought by Taft in 1967, Hanna-Barbera would've still made a theatrical deal with Columbia Pictures until 1978, when Hanna-Barbera decided to end theatrical cartoons for good.
• With the exception of Charlotte's Web, it's sequel Wilbur's Great Adventure, and Once Upon a Forest, all Hanna-Barbera animated feature films would've been now owned by Warner Bros. Animation.
• Hanna-Barbera would've remained open as Warner Bros.' sister animation studio.
• Hanna-Barbera would've animated New Line Cinema and Castle Rock Entertainment's logo in the late 1980s.
• The Banana Splits Movie would have been a 1998 theatrical G rated comedy film with Hanna-Barbera Productions instead of a 2019 TV R-rated horror film with SYFY.
  • The Banana Splits would've been people in costumes, like the original, instead of animatronics.
    • They would've remain friendly despite its show's cancellation.
  • Fleegle, Bingo, and Drooper would remain as silly slapsticking animals, like Snorky.
  • Most of the violence would be toned down.
  • Dick Dastardly and Muttley would've been the antagonists of the film instead.
  • Harley and Austin would be side characters in the film.
  • It would be an HBCU film.
• Scoob would keep its theatrical release instead of the VOD one.
  • Frank Welker, who still voices Scooby, would play Fred in the HBCU.
  • Matthew Lillard, Kate Micucci, and Grey Griffin would reprise the roles as Shaggy, Daphne, and Velma in the HBCU.
• Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure would received better.
  • It would've been just titled Wilbur's Great Adventure, due to Charlotte's death in the original.
  • The character designs in the film would look more identical to the 1973 artwork.
    • Fern would no longer be a tooth-chipped hick.
    • Wilbur the Pig would never always had a hairdo, and would be brave.
    • Cardigan would look more like a lamb from the original.
  • The posters and DVD cover would have been different and would not have Fern on it. (Due to her appearing in the few scenes of the film.)
