MGM Platinum Editions are a line of VHS tapes, DVDs, and Blu-ray Discs released by MGM Studios Home Entertainment. the pre-1986 films were for Warner Home Video while the post-1986 films were for Sony Home Entertainment and 2CF Home Entertainment (now known as Disney Pictures Home Entertainment). The series features digitally remastered versions of several of the most popular MGM animated features. it has lasted from 1999 to 2009.
