The 1985 Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? game was ported for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, TurboGrafx-16, Century 16, and Sega Genesis in 1992.

The NES, Genesis, and SNES ports were made by Introware while the TurboGrafx-16 port was made by Hudson Soft. All four versions were published by Broderbund.

The ports were made to capitalize on the success of the PBS game show based off the original home computer game. The NES, Genesis, and SNES versions use a instrumental recreation of the Rockapella theme song while the TurboGrafx-16 version uses a digitized version of the studio recording of the song.
