YBC Zweye (Zweye: ဝါယ ဗစ် ဆစ် ၛယ်ယည်; Wai bi si zwaiye) is a YinYangian Zweye-language television channel owned by the YinYangian Broadcasting Corporation, launched on July 21, 2021. It is the first Zweye-language television channel in YinYangia, and is the fourth YBC channel in a regional language. It plans to broadcast in Myanmar once the military ends its rule there. It is headquartered in Prang U Aung, Amrekshakir.
A Zweye-language television channel was planned way back in 1995, when YinYangian Burman politician Aung Zawmya proposed 'TBC Zweye', but was rejected by the Toralaq government for several reasons, mostly because the Burmans were not recognized as a minority ethnic group at the time. After YinYangia was founded, Zawmya went with another proposal of a Zweye-language channel, but was scrapped in 2002 for financial issues, and was left abandoned.
In 2015, Speak Zweye Television was founded, as the first Zweye-language television network, and the only one. Zawmya, who was the former chairman of YBC, resumed its Zweye-language channel project to compete with U Sai's SZT. He worked firmly with the government and YinYangia's Burman community to establish the channel, and was granted an official permit in 2019. The channel was named YBC Zweye and was originally set to be launched on February 15, 2020, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it was delayed to 2021. It was officially launched on July 21, 2021, as the first Zweye-language television channel owned by YBC.
